Day 4 – Borda

Great day of hiking into the Pyrenees mountains. It’s one of the world’s great hikes.

We decided to all leave on our own schedule, since we walk different paces up hill. We all just naturally met up with each other with about a mile to go.

How’s the food?

As expected, the French food has been great. Highlights included roasted lamb and goat cheese salad. Ann had her first Spanish tortilla today. That was a winner too. The food is definitely part of the fun

Last night, I was walking to the grocery store when I saw two homeless people washing their clothes at a open-air laundromat. Then I realized it was Carol and Ann.
Before we left today, we bumped into Isabella and Bea. We met them at our lodging the day before. They’re from Nimes, France.
Carol heading out of SJPDP today.
Inside the Pilgrims’ Office. They offer many services to pilgrims including providing a credential and a stamp.
Fortunately, there was a fence between us.
I took one million photos today.
Ann about a mile from the end of the hike.

The Cow Gods are still unhappy.

Going up hill.

    1. I reserve ahead of time because I want ensure private room. Many people just “wing it.” I use guides and internet for research.
