I walked 19.2 miles today. It is the last super long walk for me on this Camino. It went really well. My legs are definitely in shape now.
There was misty rain for the first 90 minutes or so. At one point, it increased enough that I had to put on my poncho, but that was short-lived.
The walk was fairly pleasant except for some busy roads and a path along a train track. It definitely felt more urban than rural.
My town for tonight is pretty big with more modern architecture than the other places I’ve visited.

The Gin and Food Truck Festival
Good news… there is a festival in town. The Gin and Food Truck Festival. I like food trucks but I’m not big on gin.
Bad news… the festival features live music that’s about 150 yards from my hotel and it’s pretty loud in my room. The last band goes on at 12:30AM. It could be a long night.

Pilgrims
I walked with two pilgrims today. Cheryl from NYC and Brett from Sydney, Australia. They’re traveling together. It was fun to talk with them. We also met up with Thomas from Denmark, who I met a couple of days ago.
I have 20 miles to Porto. Too far for one walk so my plan is to cut it in half with a taxi ride. My friends start arriving in Porto tomorrow. The Camino will be a lot different from here on out.
