Took a quick train ride to La Spezia. Did my laundry, ate some lunch, then when the rain stopped, headed out on a short hike. It was only a few miles but offered great views.
The kids arrived in Florence today. They’ll meet me in La Spezia tomorrow and then we’ll do a short hike along the coast.

That might be from the recent cold and wet spell.Downward was stairs tooToday’s food picture. Chocolate and hazelnut gelato. Lots of activity in La Spezia tonightSomeone posted this picture yesterday from the Great Saint Bernard Pass. Snow! Only about 10 days since we went over. The climb was hard enough without snowy trails.
