Absolutely beautiful walk today. We only covered 10.7 miles, but there were several big hills. It was great preparation for when we hike over the Pyrenees on Tuesday.
Q: How are all the old-timers’ bodies holding up?
Carol is a little bruised from yesterday’s fall. Ann is good but she spent most of today trying to convince us a scratch she got from prickers was near fatal.
Surprisingly, it’s the veteran pilgrim that is doing the worst. My lower back seized up last night. Thanks to medication and rest, it was slightly improved by morning. I shipped my backpack forward with the other bags today, so I could take some of the pressure off of my back. It seemed to work. Only moderate pain, I’ll probably do the same thing tomorrow.

Sounds like all of you are off to a great start! Enjoying your adventure from afar:)
yes cow people like the ducks too
Holiday parades that you don’t know what they are celebrating. Monuments at the top of hills you know nothing about. I guess that’s why they call you Shaka Bill and not Culture Bill or History Bill. And I agree with Jeff, cow people like ducks too.
I agree with Paul!!
Good luck with your lower back. I hope you feel better soon!
Loving the posts!!! Hope your back settles down. Must be fun to share this with your sisters! Love the ducks……..and cows!!!!
